Italdesign has released another teaser for its brand new concept set to premiere on Tuesday in Geneva.

This time around the teaser is considerably more revealing as it previews the shape of the concept along with the moniker. It will be called “GT Zero” which means the vehicle will likely be a grand tourer featuring a pure electric powertrain. Looking at the side profile of the vehicle we notice a low and sloped roofline together with a short rear end and prominent fenders.

Details concerning the electric powertrain are not available at this point, but we should expect something very strong in the same vein as last year’s stylish GEA concept. That one had four electric motors pushing out a combined output of 764 hp (570 kW.)

It should be mentioned Italdesign Giugiaro is now wholly owned by Volkswagen Group’s premium brand Audi after founder Giorgetto Giugiaro sold his remaining shares in 2015 and left the design house. The GT Zero concept teased here was designed by the new boss Filippo Perini who started his job back in September last year.

Italdesign Giugiaro will introduce the GT Zero concept on Tuesday on the dawn of the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. As with other recent concepts from Italdesign, the GT Zero will likely be just for show.

Another legendary Italian design house will also be in Geneva next week as Mahindra-owned Pininfarina will unveil a new concept.
