Aston Martin is providing another glimpse at the DB11 through a teaser clip that shows the model’s predecessors.

Set to debut on March 1, the all-new DB11 is being previewed by Aston in a dark video that gives us the opportunity to check out the design of the hood and also the shape of the side mirror caps. However, an image from a private presentation emerged onto the web last week and we saw the front fascia in all of its evolutionary design glory.

Through this teaser video Aston Martin is trying to tell us the new model will build on the DB’s heritage and will continue the tradition that started way back in 1948 with the 2-Litre Sports (aka DB1.)

With the DB11, Aston Martin is embracing the turbocharging era as the model will feature a new biturbo 5.2-liter V12 engine which is said to generate approximately 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts.) In the years to come, the DB11 will also gain a biturbo V8 4.0-liter engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG that could go through some changes in this new application.

The wait is almost over as Aston Martin will unveil the DB11 on Tuesday on the dawn of the Geneva Motor Show. An online reveal or should we say “leak” could occur over the coming weekend, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.
