Mercedes has published another teaser photo for the C Class Cabriolet set to drop its top in Geneva next month.

It’s a follow-up to the sketch released just a few days ago and this time around we get to see a little bit of the rear end metal along with the taillights which unsurprisingly have a lot in common with the C Class Coupe. As a matter of fact, the cabriolet will look a lot like the coupe, but with an electrically-retractable soft top which will be offered in black, red, and possibly one or two additional hues.

The engine lineup is already known since it will be basically carried over from the coupe. A warm Mercedes-AMG C43 Cabriolet will be added to the range later this year with a 362-hp biturbo 3.0-liter V6 and followed by a 503-hp biturbo V8 4.0-liter in the flagship Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet.

The C Class Cabriolet will share the spotlight in Geneva with the Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC Coupe, the V Class EXCLUSIVE, and the smart fortwo cabrio BRABUS edition. In addition, the E Class, SL, and SLC will receive their European premieres, just like the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabriolet Edition 130. In total, Mercedes will have no less than 37 vehicles on display in Geneva, including the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 W06 Hybrid race car.

All these cars will be exhibited in Geneva starting March 1, but Mercedes says online reveals of the premieres will take place on the evening of February 29.
