Koenigsegg is planning two world premieres at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show which will open its doors on March 1.
With just a little over two weeks to go until Geneva, more and more automakers are revealing plans for world debuts at the Swiss auto show. Koenigsegg will have two of them: the very last Agera and the Regera in production specification.
These two will be joined by a new build of the 1,160-hp Agera RS which as you probably know is the fastest-selling Koenigsegg ever. All 25 units planned for production were sold in just ten months after the model made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Koenigsegg doesn’t have a lot to say about these three cars, but it does mention the Regera has gone through no less than 3,000 changes during the last twelve months of development. It was originally shown last year in Geneva and now it will arrive in production guise at the same show before entering production which will be limited to 80 examples.
As a reminder, the Regera concept had “way over” 1,500 horsepower (1,118 kilowatts) and an immense torque of more than 1,476 pounds-feet (2,000 newton meters). We’ll just have to wait for the Geneva reveal on March 1 to find out the final numbers.
