Holden has introduced the 2016 Cruze Z-Series and the Cruze SRi-Z.

Set to go on sale in Australia on January 22th, the models feature a number of sporty styling cues.

First up, the Cruze Z-Series has a rear spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish.  The model has also been equipped with special door sill plates, "Z-Series" floor mats, and Z-Series badging.

The Cruze SRi-Z is largely identical but it has 18-inch alloy wheels with a "satin medium android" finish.  The model also has alloy pedals, door sill plates, and special floor mats.

Both models come nicely equipped with leather seats, a push-button ignition, and a rearview camera.  Buyers will also find a MyLink infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen display.

In terms of performance, the Cruze Z-Series is equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 139 horsepower and 129 pound-feet of torque.  Moving up to the  Cruze SRi-Z rewards buyers with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 177 hp and 169 lb-ft of torque.

Besides introducing the new Z variants, Holden announced the 2016 Cruze will be offered with a new Slipstream Blue paint job.  The company also revealed the Cruze Equipe will come with restyled 17-inch alloy wheels.
