Aston Martin resurrected the famous “Lagonda” nameplate for a production model last year with a luxurious sedan positioned above the Rapide. The model has an exorbitant starting price of close to $1 million (£696,000 in UK) and looks significantly different than the current models from Gaydon. It stands out not only due to its bespoke design, but also because of its sheer size as the Lagonda has an overall length of more than 212.5 inches (five meters).

It’s not an entirely new model since it uses the company’s familiar VH architecture and it’s powered by a naturally-aspirated 559-hp 5.9-liter V12 engine borrowed from the Rapide S. This gives it a top speed of approximately 200 miles per hour (322 kilometers per hour), but nobody interested in the Lagonda will care about that.

We remind you a dark brown example was spotted back in September last year on the streets of London. Taking into account both cars were filmed in Europe, it turns out Aston Martin was wise when it decided to offer the car on the old continent, although initially the plan was to sell it exclusively in the Middle East.
