MR Car Design is introducing an aftermarket “Clubsport” package tailored to the previous BMW M3 (E90 generation).

The owner of a fourth-gen M3 contacted German tuner MR Car Design and requested to make his high-performance sedan more hardcore. The aftermarket specialists did just that by installing a “Clubsport” package which includes an output boost to 450 horsepower and 318-pound feet (430 newton meters) of torque. After upgrading the naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter V8 from its stock 420 hp and 295 lb-ft, the M3 is now capable of topping out at more than 186 miles per hour (300 kilometers per hour).

MR Car Design has fitted the previous M3 Sedan with an Akrapovic exhaust and a fresh set of black 19-inch rims wrapped in 245/35/19 front & 265/35/19 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. The new set of shoes is matched with 10-mm front and 15-mm rear spacers.

To make the car more nimble when taking corners at higher speeds, the tuner installed KW’s Clubsport variant 2 coilovers. Additional engine power requires a stronger braking system which is why the car now comes with a Stoptech kit featuring yellow six-piston calipers and 380-mm discs.

Work continued inside the cabin where the custom BMW gained a Wiechers rollover bar, black Schroth seat belts, and a rear strut brace for added stability.
