Alpina has released the first teaser video of the upcoming B7.

Based on the BMW 7 Series, the model features modestly revised exterior with a unique front bumper and a trunk-mounted spoiler.  The car has also been equipped with special alloy wheels and a sporty dual exhaust system.

The video doesn't show much of the interior but we can expect the usual styling tweaks including an Alpina-branded steering wheel, revised trim, and a modified instrument cluster.

There's no word on whether or not the model will be returning to the United States but the outgoing car had a 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that was tuned to produce 540 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque.  It was connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enabled the B7 to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in as little as 4.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of up to 194 mph.

Alpina declined to say when the model will be unveiled but hinted the B7 is "coming soon."  This seems to suggest the car could debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
