A new report indicates Spyker Cars is back in business and is heading to the Geneva Motor Show where it could possibly bring a new electric sports car.

Spyker was on the brink of extinction a couple of years ago, but it seems the company has managed to get back into shape after teaming up with American aircraft manufacturer Volta Volaré. It is believed Spyker Cars CEO Victor Muller will unveil a new sports car in Geneva at the beginning of March to signal the company’s revival.

It’s not known at this point whether the EV in question will be a concept or a production model, but we are tempted to believe it will be the former. We will know for sure what’s what on March 1 when additional information will be disclosed, prior to the car’s debut at the Swiss auto show two days later.

Hopefully this time around, Spyker Cars has a more solid business plan and will be able to actually launch production cars that in return will bring a profit to keep the company going and expand. Previous models and concepts showed great potential, but without proper administration, the company was bound to fail.
