Kia South Korea has released several new images of the next-gen Cadenza known locally as the “K7.”

The more angular design really suits the new K7 quite well and as you can see, the car sports Kia’s fresh take on the corporate “tiger nose” grille. The next generation is being billed as an “all-new” model and according to Kia the styling takes cues from European luxury sedans. It’s full of LED lights at the front and back and looks rather sporty from behind with its dual exhaust tailpipes framed in chrome.

Although the new K7 made its debut last November, Kia has been relatively quiet about it since then. However, we do notice in one of the attached pics it has a “3.3” badge on the trunk which means that it’s powered by the newly developed turbo 3.3-liter. It’s available in the Genesis G90 where it generates 365 horsepower and 377 pound-feet of torque via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Real images of the interior are not available at this point, but the teaser pic shows an elegant cabin and will likely be roomier than the outgoing model since the car appears to be bigger on the outside.

The Cadenza will likely arrive in United States for the 2017 model year, so expect a debut at a major North American auto show in the coming months.
