Bentley is now offering stone veneers as an optional luxury item to enable an even more upscale interior cabin.

High-end marques have an extensive list of goodies created for buyers that are very hard to please, so Bentley has decided to further entice customers by selling stone veneers. These can be had in four different colors (Autumn White, Galaxy, Copper, and Terra Red) for the Flying Spur and Continental models.

The stone veneers are available through Mulliner’s bespoke team in charge of tailoring this optional feature to the exact requirements provided by the client. Bentley mentions the slate and quartzite stone is obtained from hand-selected quarries in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh, India by splitting sections of stone from large pieces. After that, the pieces are cured using glass fiber and a bespoke resin before Mulliner finalizes the shape by hand at home in Crewe.

The luxury British marque goes on to specify the stone surfaces of the veneers are very light and translucent, enabling the stone’s grain and pattern to be visible to those inside the cabin.

Details regarding pricing are not available at this point, but obviously getting stone veneers doesn’t come cheap taking into account the amount of work and the rarity of the material.
