Jannarelly has announced more details regarding its first model that will reach first customers in the summer of 2016.

The newly established automaker shared a first glimpse of its first production car late last year and now founders Anthony Jannarelley and Frederic Juillot are ready to announce technical specifications of the Design-1. The biggest news here is that the retro-styled vehicle will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine, pushing out 304 horsepower and 274 pound-feet of torque. Power will be sent to the 16-inch rear wheel through a six-speed manual transmission, and a limited slip differential. Estimated 0-62 miles per hour acceleration stands at 4 seconds, while the top speed will be around 135 mph.

Other notable technical features of the 1,565-pound roadster include double wishbone suspension with adjustable dampers, ventilated discs with four-piston calipers for the front wheels and solid discs with two-piston calipers at the back, lightweight carbon fiber body parts, and more.

Sales of the Design-1 will kick off in summer of 2016 with a Special Launching Edition that will be offered to customers at $55,000. The price should be paid on three stages – 10 percent at the booking, 40 when production starts, and 50 at delivery.
