Bits and pieces of the new 2016 Mercedes E Class are already up for grabs on eBay, even though the car hasn’t been officially revealed yet.

These components have been sourced from a test prototype of a base model taking into account it has analog dials. Those two tube-type round dials are separated by a seven-inch color screen, while the one for the infotainment system measures 8.4 inches, although it seems to be missing here. All the dials and screens are hosted in a glossy black frame that obviously doesn’t look nearly as good as the upper-spec models with the S Class-like dual digital screens.

Even though some prefer analog dials, chances are the entry-level E Class model will mostly be bought to perform taxi duties. Perhaps it would have been nice to have a version with the analog dials combined with the 12.3-inch digital screen of the more expensive models for the COMAND setup.

As you can see, the speedometer is in mph and was extracted from a gasoline-powered vehicle taking into account the tachometer goes up to 8,000 rpm. The parts are located in Hamburg, Germany and according to the listing these items were developed by Continental.

Ending later today, the eBay listing currently has two bids and the highest one stands at $32.5 (€30).
