Mazda has prepared a series of concepts for the Tokyo Auto Salon set to open its doors on January 15.

First up, the CX-3 Racing Concept has received a slightly more aggressive body kit and combines a black finish with subtle red accents also applied onto the new multi-spoke alloys. It also seems to sit a little bit lower than the regular model and adopts dual exhaust tips together with a more prominent roof-mounted spoiler.

The Mazda6 known locally as the Atenza has also been turned into a Racing Concept and proposes an all-black look together with a mild aero kit. The murdered-out sedan rides on a fresh set of wheels and also appears to have a stiffer suspension setup.

The third vehicle prepared for Tokyo is the Mazda2 / Demio 15MB Racing Spec that comes with a stripped-out interior cabin to shave off excess weight. It has received a pair of bucket seats with racing harnesses and there’s also a roll cage. Unlike the other two, the exterior has a white finish with some body graphics and a racing number.

There’s also an MX-5 Miata RS Racing concept that pretty much uses the same theme as the aforementioned CX-3 Racing Concept. Mazda will also have on display the race-ready Global MX-5 Cup and NR-A Racing Spec versions currently available on sale.

All these vehicles will be showcased starting January 15 in Japan during the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon.
