VW has released a teaser video of its “completely new concept car” set to arrive in January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

It appears to take the shape of a minivan and could have something to do with the 2011 Bulli, even though VW says it’s an all-new concept. The company has already confirmed it’s going to be an electrified vehicle, so maybe it will serve as a sneak preview for an electric minivan. Other details are scarce at the moment, but we do know the vehicle will feature an increased level of connectivity and we won’t be too surprised if it will have some sort of autonomous driving tech.

We tried to figure out what those letters on the tailgate are saying and we think the concept will be called “duo-e.” The “duo” could refer to the car’s versatility while the “e” clearly stands for “electric.” The vehicle has a boxy shape and could come with sliding doors, although we’re not entirely sure about this.

Whatever it is, the “groundbreaking electric vehicle” as described by VW is going to be introduced a week from today at CES in Las Vegas and will mark “the beginning of a new era of affordable long-distance electromobility.”
