Alpha-N Performance has prepared a power boost via software optimization for the BMW 435i and 435d.

First up, the 435i comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that pushes out 302 hp (225 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) in standard configuration. Those who consider it needs more power should contact Alpha-N Performance as the EVOX PowerPlus ECU tuning box takes the numbers to 362 hp (270 kW) and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm).

There’s no word about performance, but it should be considerably quicker than the standard 435i Coupe which runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 5.4 seconds and is electronically-capped at 155 mph (250 km/h).

As for the 435d, this one has 308 hp (230 kW) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) when it leaves the factory, but Alpha-N Performance is willing to bump those figures to 369 hp (275 kW) and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque.

The extra diesel punch should lower the sprint time considerably compared to a stock 435d that needs 4.7 seconds before it reaches an electronically-restricted 155 mph.

In both cases, the tuner recommends installing a larger intercooler that costs $753 (€690). Alpha-N Performance is asking $763 (€699) for the engine power upgrade, regardless if it’s the gasoline or diesel motor.

Besides the stronger engine, the modified BMW 435i and 435d have gained an Öhlins Road & Track coilover suspension that lowers the vehicles by almost one inch (25 mm). Alpha-N Performance is also offering a set of 19-inch OZ Racing Superturismo alloy wheels wrapped around in 235/35 R19 front and 255/30 R19 rear tires available as a complete set for $2,511 (€2,300).
