High-end dealer SuperVettura is now selling the Koeningsegg One:1 development car for a cool $6 million.

It’s the chassis number #7106 and you can imagine it went through a lot of testing as everything had to be perfect for the production version that was limited to six units. Christian von Koenigsegg himself and the rest of the team put the car through its paces and now it's up for grabs. Prospect buyers should know the car is going through an “extensive factory refresh” and is going to be ready next month.

Needless to say, the One:1 development car served as foundation for several new technologies created by Koenigsegg. These include active chassis and aero, variable turbo geometry, 3D-printed titanium parts and turbo housing, along with carbon lay up technology.

According to the seller, the $6-million One:1 can be imported and registered under the show and display regulation in United States. This is the car that took down the 0-186 mph (0-300 kph) record by completing the task in 11.92 seconds. In addition, it also broke the 0-186-0 record after doing the run in just 17.95 seconds.

Billed as being the world’s first megacar, the Koenigsegg One:1 is a technological tour de force and it has received this name as a reference to its 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. These are enough reasons to believe the value of this car will increase with time since it stood as a cornerstone for the production vehicle.
