A standard 918 is special by definition, but this particular example is even more desirable as it has the optional Weissach Package. In addition, the original owner bought it without the factory paint. That doesn’t mean it has a bare carbon fiber body as the hybrid hypercar comes with a full matte black wrap for protection against scratches.

As you probably have noticed already, we are dealing with a US-spec 918 and the lack of paint has shaved off around 14 lbs (6.3 kg). Another 8 lbs (3.6 kg) were cut by installing nomex-covered racing seats. Fitted with the Weissach kit, it means the car rides on the 20-inch front and 21-inch rear magnesium wheels. These are 32.8 lbs (14.8 kg) lighter than the stock wheels and contribute to make the 918 Spyder even quicker.

According to the listing, it’s the only car (out of a total of 918 units) to come in this configuration. As a matter of fact, it’s virtually the same as the one that took down the Nürburgring lap record with a 6:57 time. It appears to be in perfect condition, although that’s not really surprising taking into account it has covered just 1,856 miles (2,986 km).
