Peugeot puts one more variation at center stage. Called HYmotion3 compressor, Peugeot applies the same hybrid principles to a three-wheel-drive vehicle.

Peugeot have really put their HYmotion technology center stage in Paris. Following the Prologue, RC, Hypnos and C4 WRC concepts all featuring the all-wheel-drive hybrid technology, Peugeot puts one more variation at center stage. Called HYmotion3 compressor, Peugeot applies the same hybrid principles to a three-wheel-drive vehicle.

Described as a missing link between the scooter and the car, the HYmotion3 compressor features a streamlined body with a 3 kW electric motor in each of its two front wheels, coupled with a 15 kW (20 bhp) supercharged petrol engine, already featured in the Peugeot Satelis scooter, driving the rear wheel. Fuel consumption is a mere 2.0 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions are only 47 g/km in the combined cycle (zero in electric only mode).
