Audi has announced plans to showcase a mysterious concept car at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The model will be shown on January 6th but little is known about it. However, given the show's focus on technology, it will likely be a high-tech concept which could have an autonomous driving system.
Besides the mystery model, Audi of America President Scott Keogh and Audi Head of Electrics/Electronics Ricky Hudi will present the "latest technologies, products and megatrends in the areas of electrification, digitalization and piloted driving." The automaker will also have a number of technology exhibits which provide a glimpse into the automotive future which Audi says is being influenced more than ever by the electronics field.
While the Consumer Electronics Show might seem like an odd place to see vehicle introductions, it has become pretty common in recent years. Faraday Future will use the upcoming show to introduce a new concept and GM CEO Mary Barra is expected to unveil the production Chevrolet Bolt during her keynote address on January 6th.
