After upgrading the Lamborghini Huracan, the tuners at xXx Performance have now worked their magic on the desirable Ferrari 488 GTB.

It’s one of the first aftermarket specialists to take a stab at upgrading the turbocharged 488 GTB and have already come up with a boost for the twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine. As if the standard 670 PS (493 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) output wasn’t enough, xXx Peformance's stage 1 kit dials the motor to 750 PS (552 kW) and 830 Nm (613 lb-ft).

It is followed by a stage 2 program bumping power to 850 PS (625 kW) and 930 Nm (687 lb-ft), while the stage 3 package will unleash more than 1,000 PS (736 kW) and 1,250 Nm (923 lb-ft). With the strongest kit available, the tuned 488 GTB is even more powerful than the track-only hybrid FXX K.

These three massive power upgrades were possible thanks to a remapped ECU, custom intake, and a new sports exhaust system. The latter incorporates controllable flaps and has bigger downpipes for a lower back-pressure to provide a more aggressive soundtrack.

xXx Performance has also fiddled with the car’s looks as the Ferrari 488 GTB now has a carbon fiber front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, mirrors, and vents next to the taillights. Moreover, the side turn signals, taillights, and the rear fog light have received a black tint.

Stock wheels were replaced with a 21-inch Vossen VPS-315T set that comes with 245/30 ZR21 front and 325/35 ZR21 rear tires. The ride height has been lowered by 35 mm thanks to a new set of springs and there’s also a hydraulic lift system to increase ground clearance when necessary.

There’s no word about performance, but you can imagine the stage 3 kit makes the 488 GTB an absolute rocket. Even the standard model is very quick as it runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3 seconds and tops out at 205 mph (330 km/h).
