The 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe has been spied undisguised during a photo shoot outside Las Vegas, Nevada.
Previewed by the Q60 concept, the production model has a familiar design but adopts a less aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille, chrome trim, and LED-infused headlights. Moving further back, we can see flowing body work, muscular side skirts, and ventilated front fenders. The car also has door-mounted mirrors, a distinctive greenhouse, and a steeply sloped roof.
The sporty styling continues at the rear as the Q60 has slender LED taillights and a trunk with an integrated spoiler. Below, there's a unique bumper and a dual exhaust system.
Engine options remain unconfirmed, but this particular model has 3.0t badging which suggests it uses a Mercedes-sourced twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that develops 333 bhp (248 kW) and 353 lb-ft (479 Nm) of torque. The model is also expected to be offered with a Mercedes-sourced turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops at least 208 bhp (155 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque.
If that's not enough options, there have also been rumors about a hybridized 3.5-liter V6 and a high-performance variant with a twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 engine that develops 408 bhp (304 kW).
The 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe is expected to debut at the North American International Auto Show in January before going on sale in the spring of 2016.
