Nissan and Hoonigan have joined forces to create a new video that celebrates the busiest shopping day of the year in the US known as Black Friday.

Filmed at the abandoned Hawthorne Mall outside Los Angeles, the video stars two-time Formula Drift Champion Chris Forsberg and Ryan Tuerck who drive their 1000 bhp (745 kW) Nissan 370Z's throughout the crumbling building.

The video quality leaves something to be desired but the clip was shot using 360° cameras which allow viewers to explore the action like never before.

One of the highlights of the video is when Forsberg drifts the back of his car on the ledge overlooking a 30-foot drop.  As the driver explained, "I knew I could mentally block out the drop, however my biggest concern was the surface. The conditions were dusty and underneath all of that was polished concrete."  Luckily, the driver was able to get the shot in one take without going over the edge.

Unfortunately, the camera crew's equipment wasn't as lucky as a GoPro camera was "left implanted in the cinderblock facade" and a 360-degree camera rig was accidentally run over during filming.
