Audi Middle East has released a new promotional video that stars the RS 7 Sportback.

In the clip, the high-performance model does an "Elevation Challenge" against the elevators in the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai.  That doesn't sound too exciting but the building's elevators travel at speeds of 10 meters per second (22 mph / 36 km/h).

The challenge pits Audi Sport driver Edoardo Mortara against Musa Khalfan Yasin who is the fastest 100 meter sprinter in the United Arab Emirates.  Mortara had to race up the Jebel Hafeet mountain before Yasin could reach the top of the building.

Unfortunately, something seems off as the RS 7 just happens to get stalled by a goat and the two end up tying.

We're not buying the result but the RS 7 is an impressive beast nonetheless as it features a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 560 PS (552 bhp / 411 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque.  It is connected to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system which enables the hatchback to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.9 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
