Audi Forum Neckarsulm currently has on display an Audi A8 L facelift painted in Magnolia and fitted with numerous goodies from the Audi Exclusive catalog.

The Audi A8 (D4) is the oldest of the German flagship luxury trio, but in this specification it still looks quite fresh to us. It’s far from being an ordinary A8 as aside from the longer wheelbase it also has a Magnolia Individual paint and optional Audi Sport wheels with a seven double-spoke design.

Most of the tweaks are noticeable inside the cabin where the A8 L has been specified with Audi Exclusive goodies, including two-tone Valcona leather upholstery combining saddle brown with Magnolia White. It also has an Alcantara headliner, leather dashboard, metallic accents, and wood trim on the center consoles and door panels. To top it all, there’s a rear-seat entertainment system with dual screens mounted on the back of the front seats.

Audi Exclusive is all about visual upgrades, so the V8 4.2-liter TDI engine develops the same 385 PS (283 kW) at 3,750 rpm and 850 Nm (628 lb-ft) of torque from 2,000 rpm. It’s enough diesel punch to grant the full-size luxury sedan with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.9 seconds and an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 km/h).

If you would rather wait for the new A8 (D5), it will be out towards the end of next year or early 2017 and will get a semi-autonomous driving system.
