We base this assumption on the fact that it has a substantially larger rear window and a taller roofline to enable a more spacious cabin that will likely have a 2+2 seating arrangement. You will also notice the third brake light no longer sits up high as it has been repositioned below the reshaped rear window. There could be some changes to the triangular side windows, since McLaren could decide to make them a tad bigger to let more light enter the cabin.

Although the roofline is now higher, the two rear seats will be suitable only for children as headroom will be very limited. Besides gaining two more seats, the new 570S derivative could also benefit from a larger trunk to make it worthy of its "GT" suffix. Moreover, the cabin will likely eschew some of the sportiness in favor of more luxurious appointments as a way to make the car more comfortable during longer journeys.

As for power, the twin-turbo V8 3.8-liter engine will probably be carried over from the standard model where it generates 570 PS (419 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The coupe needs 3.2 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) before topping out at 204 mph (328 km/h), but the GT version will be a tad slower due to increased weight.

The latest gossip indicates McLaren will roll out the 570S GT sometime next year and will be followed in 2017 by a 570S Spider.
