You won’t be able to visit your local Aston Martin dealer and order the DB10 as only ten cars were made and all of them were assigned to the latest Bond flick. Some were destroyed during filming and now one of the remaining cars is on display in Los Angeles to show its sleek body that will influence the company’s upcoming design language.

While the outer skin is pretty much new, we can’t say the same thing about the underpinnings as this is basically a rebodied V8 Vantage. Although you can’t see the cabin in these images, a video posted more than a month ago showed the “Hero” car with a complete interior featuring some radical changes compared to current AMs.

Expect some of the exterior and interior design novelties to make their transition to the company’s next production car, the DB11. It’s due to come out sometime next year and will likely use an upgraded VH platform and quite possibly a Mercedes-AMG V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine joining a twin-turbo version of AM’s V12.

Note: We also included some bonus pics with the DB10 during its UK tour to promote SPECTRE.
