German tuner WIMMER is introducing a new upgrade package tailored to the KTM X-BOW R track machine.

As if the standard X-BOW R wasn’t already a beast with its Audi-sourced 2.0-liter TFSI engine, WIMMER has decided to work on the motor to extract even more power. The engineers were able to dial the output level from the series 300 PS (221 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) to no less than 380 PS (279 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft). As a result of the added punch, the lightweight track car now completes the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in as little as 3.3 seconds and needs just 11.2 seconds for the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) task.

It should be an absolute blast to drive taking into account the X-BOW R weighs just 790 kg (1,741 lbs) thanks to numerous carbon fiber components. This particular car rides on TAN-EI-SYA forged alloy wheels with Toyo semi-slick tires and has received the tuner’s two-stage black exhaust system providing a more aggressive tone.

There's not much going on inside the cabin, but WIMMER says they have covered the steering wheel in leather and have also installed "premium" Recaro sport seats with a black finish.

WIMMER is asking €99,999 for a KTM X-BOW equipped with all the bells and whistles, but you’d better hurry up as the aftermarket package will be offered in limited quantities on a first come, first served basis.
