The GMC Sierra Denali is already one of the most luxurious pickups on the market but that hasn't stopped the company from unveiling the new Sierra Denali Ultimate.
Set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later today, the Sierra Denali Ultimate is available exclusively as a crew cab model with either a 5’ 8” or 6’ 6” cargo bed. It features all the usual Denali styling tweaks as well as chrome tow hooks, a sunroof and 22-inch wheels alloy wheels. The model also has IntelliBeam LED headlights, Tri-Mode Power Steps and a power-sliding rear window with a defogger.
The interior largely carries over but it comes nicely equipped with aluminum and wood trim as well as 12-way power adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation functions. Drivers will also find a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals and a Bose premium sound system. Other highlights include a remote vehicle starter, a wireless smartphone charger and an eight-inch Customizable Driver Display in the instrument cluster. The range-topping truck also boasts an infotainment system with an eight-inch display and GPS navigation.
On the performance front, two different engines will be available. The entry-level 5.3-liter V8 produces 355 bhp (250 kW) and 383 lb-ft (519 Nm) of torque, while the optional 6.2-liter V8 develops 420 bhp (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque.
Regardless of which engine is selected, the truck comes equipped with four-wheel drive, magnetic ride control and a standard trailer brake controller.
The 2016 Sierra Denali Ultimate will go on sale early next year and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
