Available to order starting next week, the refreshed supermini now benefits from a more fuel efficient Euro 6 4-cylinder engine, equipped with a start-stop system and emitting 124g/km of CO2. The unit produces 106 HP (78 kW) and works together with a five-speed manual gearbox.
The MG3 also comes with a new chrome grille to “complement the MG family face”, as well as two new exterior colors - Red Rose and Hello Yellow, that are also available with white or black roof color.
Customers can choose from five trim levels starting with the MG3 3Time available at 8,399 GBP. Next are the MG3 3Form priced at 9,599 GBP and the MG3 3Form Sport priced at 9,899 GBP. At the upper end of the range sit the MG3 3Style from 10,499 GBP and the range-topping MG3 3Style Lux wearing a starting price tag of 10,999 GBP.
Matthew Cheyne, head of sales and marketing for MG, commented that “the MG3 has continued its success from the day it launched in 2013 and, with all that it offers, it’s easy to see why so many people have fallen for our fun-packed and stylish supermini.” He added that the company is now giving customers “a little bit more, with the addition of some great features, but still keeping the price low, making it great value for money and setting us apart from our competitors.”
