Spy photos of a new concept model from Geely have emerged.
Details at the moment are scarce, but it appears to be a study previewing a production station wagon for the Chinese brand. The vehicle will reportedly make its global debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month and is basically a wagon version of the Emgrand Concept, revealed back in April this year.
The attached images depict a sporty wagon with European design, featuring a slopping roofline, small rear window, sweptback headlights and twin exhaust pipes at the back. The sporty appearance is supported by large five twin-spoke alloy wheels in graphite gray.
Currently there’s no technical information available, but word on the street says the concept could be powered by a hybrid system, including a petrol unit and an electric motor. The production model could receive 1.3 and 1.5 turbocharged petrol engines, but there’s no confirmation.
Last month Geely revealed the Bo Yue SUV that will be launched in the first quarter of 2016 in China. Global sales are expected to start a few months later, when the car will also get an English name.
