There are a lot of one-offs with the bowtie in Las Vegas these days at SEMA and a prime example is this Special Ops concept based on the 2016 Silverado 1500 Z71, but with a Razzle Dazzle naval-inspired camo exterior, a new front fascia and a narrow light bar with 6-inch LED light strips. It also has black grille inserts and new wheel flares while the black bowtie elements and custom rocker guards were also tailor-made for this concept.
The list of changes continue with 20-inch alloy wheels shod in off-road tires, a GearOn utility rack storage system with cargo tie-down rings and several upgrades inside the cabin where the Silverado Special Ops concept has waterproof seat covers and floor liners, Ejector Orange glove box handle and door pulls along with a Razzle Dazzle look for the armrests and instrument panel to mirror the exterior.
Rounding off the list of changes are the air intake and exhaust kits along with a new brake package which were all developed by Chevrolet Performance.
Also exhibited these days at SEMA are Chevrolet’s Colorado Z71 Trail Boss 3.0, turbocharged ’67 Nova, Camaro SS & Red Line Series, Trax Red Line Series, Malibu Red Line Series and Spark RS concepts, just to name a few.
