The 2016 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet has been caught at SEMA.

Snapped by a Mustang6G reader, the turn-key racer has a blue exterior with a classic Cobra Jet livery.  The model also has a wheelie bar and five-spoke wheels with Hoosier tires.

Little else is known about the model but a previous teaser video showed it will have an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, racing seats and a roll cage.  The model will also have auxiliary gauges, a revised center stack and a new shifter.

Ford has been tight-lipped about the new Cobra Jet but the previous model was eligible to compete in both NHRA Stock and Super Stock classes.  The outgoing car also has a three-speed transmission, a high-performance braking system, a track-tuned suspension and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine.
