Skoda has teamed up with glassworks specialist PRECIOSA for a one-off Superb Black Crystal which as the name suggests is packed with shiny crystals.

The highlight of Skoda’s bespoke Superb mid-size hatchback is the special alloy wheel set featuring StarDust coating which consists of small, bright crystals applied onto the entire surface. In addition, the front and rear Skoda logos along with the badge on the steering wheel and the Laurin & Klement emblem have received the same special treatment. If the finish looks familiar, that’s because Skoda used it back in the summer on the Tour de France winner trophies.

We checked Skoda’s online configurator and discovered these fancy wheels actually have a direct correspondent on the production car since they look pretty much the same as the 19-inch Phoenix set, sans the crystals.

Skoda will show off the unique Superb Black Crystal starting tomorrow in Prague at the Designblok 2015 during Czech Design and Fashion Week.
