Land Rover has released yet another teaser with their Range Rover Evoque Cabrio, this time focusing on off-road testing.

Billed as being "the convertible for all seasons", the open-top Range Rover will try to succeed where others have failed and today Land Rover is trying to prove that despite its rather odd body style, it will still be a proper Range Rover with serious off-road capabilities. That being said, we can't imagine anyone actually taking the four-wheel drive Evoque Cabrio on bumpy roads to test whether it's a reputable off-roader.

The "world's first luxury compact SUV convertible" has actually been a long time in the making as a concept was introduced at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. That one was designed primarily to gauge consumer interest and it seems the feedback was positive since the car will actually hit the assembly line next spring, following a public reveal set for the second half of November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
