DeltaWing Technologies has taken the wraps off a street-legal concept and a GT race car concept chassis.

Currently on display at Road Atlanta’s Vendor Village, the concepts are billed as a "further refinement" of their previous efforts.  The company was coy on specifics but said the car's architecture has been improved and the drag coefficient of the road car has been lowered to 0.26.

DeltaWing Technologies went on to say the road car has been designed to accommodate virtually any current or future transverse engine including those that run on petrol, diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG).  The platform can also be used with hybrid and electric powertrains.

The DeltaWing GT race car concept, on the other hand, was designed to weigh between 1,800 -2,000 lbs and use an engine that develops between 350 - 400 bhp.  It will begin testing later this year to further the company's goal of creating "both a two-passenger Panoz DeltaWing GT and four-passenger Panoz DeltaWing car for the road."
