Volkswagen has launched a special site, dedicated to the massive diesel scandal.

VAG is now trying to shed some light on the Dieselgate that shocked the auto industry, giving short answers to many questions customers might ask themselves. The company explains it takes “full responsibility” and “deeply regret” what happened.

Probably the most important thing is that affected vehicles are still safe drive, as VW says “this is an emissions issue” and “your vehicle is safe to drive.”

The site also provides an official message to the customers from Michael Horn, president and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America. He explains that “we are committed to making this right and preventing it from ever happening again.” The producer will bring the TDI vehicles fitted with the defeat device “into compliance with the federal and state emissions regulations.”
