The Alfa Romeo Giulia made its world premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show but we’ll have to wait at least 12 month to see it on the road.

While nothing is confirmed, AutoExpress reports the sedan in its whole range will reach the dealerships of the brand in the autumn of 2016. We also don’t know the official price of the car, but the QV range-topping model will likely be available from 53,000 GBP, while a lightweight version with carbon fiber roof and bonnet, ceramic brakes and racing seats will start at 66,000 GBP.

What we do know however is that the Italian sports sedan lapped the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 39 seconds and is quicker around the track than the BMW M4 with its 7:52 minutes. This impressive result has been achieved thanks to a 2.9-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with 510 PS (375 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft), also ensuring the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint takes only 3.9 seconds.
