The ultra-exclusive Aston Martin Lagonda has been filmed on UK's public roads for the first time.
Only 200 units are programmed for production and now one of the first UK-spec cars with a RHD layout was spotted in London where it obviously caught the attention of the bystanders. It looks very imposing as it should be for a high-end 5.4-meter car that has resurrected the Lagonda nameplate after several decades of absence.
In United Kingdom it kicks off at a whopping £696,000 and all of the cars are hand-built in a facility where Aston Martin previously made the One-77. Those very few people who can afford the car will have access to numerous customization options available through the company's Q bespoke division, so it's safe to say each and every Lagonda will be unique.
It's being billed as the epitome of luxury, but let's not forget the 550 bhp V12 borrowed from the Rapide S grants the modern Lagonda with a 200 mph (322 km/h) top speed, so it still remains properly quick despite its sheer size and weight.
It should be mentioned the Lagonda was initially supposed to be a Middle East-only affair, but Aston Martin decided to expand availability to Continental Europe, United Kingdom and South Africa.
