Cadillac spokesman Dave Caldwell has revealed the brand is considering a couple of new Escalade variants which could cost more than $100,000.

Speaking to Automotive News, Caldwell said nothing has been approved but the argument for a six-figure Escalade is "strong and momentum is moving it higher."  The spokesperson went on to say they have already studied high-performance and ultra-luxury variants but they're currently focused on creating new models and not derivatives.

While Caldwell denied plans for an Escalade-V, previous reports have suggested it could debut at the 2016 New York Auto Show with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine.
