Rolls-Royce dipped their toes into the electric vehicle waters with the 102EX concept but ultimately rejected a production variant because the limited range and long recharging time was considered unacceptable.

Fast forward to today and it appears Rolls-Royce is once again considering the idea as Torsten Muller-Otvos has revealed he can "definitely imagine a fully electric Rolls-Royce."  Of course, there are some caveats as the CEO says he would only be open to an EV if the company finds a "battery technology that can offer ranges that are acceptable to our customers."

While battery technology is rapidly advancing, Muller-Otvos says the company hasn't approved either a plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle as of yet.
