Subaru has unveiled the facelifted 2016 Crosstrek.

Looking instantly recognizable, the facelifted model has a revised front fascia, updated headlights and restyled 17-inch alloy wheels.

The interior largely carries over but the model gains LED accent lighting and a standard 6.2-inch STARLINK infotainment system with an AM/FM/HD radio, a CD player, Bluetooth/iPod connectivity and a rearview camera. 2.0i Premium and higher variants also receive a new steering wheel and orange contrast stitching.  Furthermore, 2.0i Limited and Hybrid Touring models boast new gloss black and silver dash trim.

On the safety front, Limited and Hybrid Touring variants gain several new driver assistance systems including Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Under the hood, two engines are available. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine produces 148 bhp (110 kW), while the hybrid variant has a combined maximum output of 160 bhp (190 kW).

The 2016 Subaru Crosstrek will go on sale in the United States this fall and pricing starts at $21,595.
