Thunder Power has released the first details about their upcoming electric vehicle.

Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Taiwanese EV is being billed as Tesla Model S competitor that features a stylish European-inspired design.  The teaser image doesn't reveal much but the car appears to have boomerang-shaped headlights, an oval grille and a panoramic glass roof.

Power will be provided by an electric drivetrain that produces 430 bhp (320 kW).  It will enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds, hit a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) and travel up to 600 km (373 miles) on a single charge.

The car is slated to be launched in Europe in 2017 and cost approximately 400,000 yuan ($62,705 / ?40,565 / €55,593).
