Cadillac officials have been hinting at a high-performance Escalade for months and a new report is indicating a V-Series variant is "imminent."
Nothing is official but Motor Trend is reporting the model will likely be powered by the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that resides in the Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V. There's no word on specifications but the engine produces 650 bhp (485 kW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque in the Corvette and 640 bhp (477 kW) and 630 lb-ft (855 Nm) of torque in the CTS-V.
If the rumors pan out, the Escalade-V could be introduced at the 2016 New York Auto Show and cost approximately $88,000.
