The BMW M6 Competition Edition has leaked to the web ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Designed to celebrate the launch of the M6 GT3, the special edition is based on the M6 Coupe and features an Alpine White or Austin Yellow exterior with black chrome accents and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.  The model will also have a carbon fiber rear spoiler, an M Performance exhaust and carbon ceramic brakes - among other things.

Moving inside, drivers will find BMW Individual black Merino leather sport seats with contrast stitching.  The model will also have carbon fiber trim, a heads-up display and the Executive and Driver's Assistance packages.

The car will also be equipped with the Competition Package which enables the 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine to produce 600 PS (441 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque.  It will be connected exclusively to a dual-clutch transmission.

Pricing will reportedly start at $157,000 and production could be limited to 120 units.
