Volkswagen has elaborated a couple of R-Line packages for the Golf Sportsvan and they will show them in Frankfurt later this month.

The Golf SV is certainly not the most exciting Volkswagen on sale today, so VAG has decided to spice things up by rolling out an R-Line Exterior package which brings sportier front and rear bumpers, sill extensions along with a revised grille and chrome accents at the front. The air inlets have also gone through some changes while at the back there are tinted taillights and chrome-plated exhaust tips.

Stepping inside the cabin, the Golf Sportsvan with the optional R-Line Exterior kit comes with exclusive sport seats which have a Race fabric for the middle panels combined with a San Remo microfiber for the side supports. There's also a Black Lead Grey decorative trim, door kick plates with the "R-Line" lettering, as well as a black headliner and color-coordinated gear lever gaiter. To further boost the model's appeal, Volkswagen has added an R-Line start screen for the infotainment system along with decorative stitching for the door panels, floor mats, steering wheel and the gear lever.

At an additional cost, the Golf Sportsvan can also be specified with an R-Line Sports Package which brings a sports suspension that lowers the vehicle by 15 mm. It also encompasses a more progressive steering setup, tinted rear windows and four R-Line alloy wheel choices available in 17- and 18-inch sizes.

The Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan equipped with these two R-Line kits will be showcased in less than two weeks at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA).
