After last night's reveal, Mercedes-Benz has published five promotional videos with their latest product, the S-Class Cabriolet.

It represents their first open-top four-seater since 1971 and upon launch will be offered only in S500 and S63 AMG specification. The design is clearly carried over from the coupe, but with a three-layer acoustic soft top that needs around 20 seconds to open or close. This electrically retractable fabric roof can be operated at speeds of up to 60 km/h (37 mph) and can be ordered with a dark blue, beige, dark red and black finish.

Other changes compared to the S-Class Coupe include the availability of optional AIRSCARF neck-level heating and IRCAP automatic wind protection systems, as well as a newly developed THERMOTRONIC intelligent climate control system which ensures utmost comfort for the passengers regardless whether the top is in position or folded in the trunk.

We will see the S-Class Cabriolet in less than two weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show and Mercedes-Benz says they will open the order books in Germany in December, with deliveries programmed for spring next year.
