The owner of a Porsche 911 GT3 (991 generation) has decided to eliminate the rear wing for reasons unknown at this point.

Among the many interesting cars - including the Mercedes Benz C111-II experimental vehicle - which participated at last weekend's Cars & Coffee event in Aliso Viejo, CA, one of them caught our attention: this wingless Porsche 911 GT3. We don't know why the owner decided to remove it, but we also notice he modified the trunk lid to incorporate the third brake light which in the standard model is built into the wing.

Maybe the owner wanted to make his 911 GT3 stand out even more, but the end result is not what we would call desirable since the rear end just looks odd without the wing and that bulging trunk lid doesn't help either as it makes the car look fat.
