BMW has shared an impressively huge hi-res photo gallery with the new 7-Series.
Revealed back in June, the Bavarian company’s flagship model comes with an evolutionary exterior design with all the distinctive features of the current design language of the brand. These include prominent twin kidney grille, flanked by massive headlights with standard LED technology or optional Laserlight system. At the back we find L-shaped LED taillights.
The luxury sedan is available with a total of three engines – two petrol (750i and 740i) and one diesel (730d) with power ranging from 265 PS (195 kW) to 450 PS (330 kW). There's also the new BMW 740e plug-in hybrid version that uses a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engine, a 95 PS (70 kW) electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The system output stands at 326 PS (240 kW), while the average fuel consumption is rated at 2.1 L/100km (134.5 mpg UK).
All models come as standard with a two-axle air suspension with automatic self-leveling and Dynamic Damper Control. Optionally available is the Executive Drive Pro package that adds an active chassis control system with an electromechanic active roll stabilization system.
