A new report is claiming Jeremy Clarkson will be earning 10M GBP a year for his new show on Amazon.
The former Top Gear host was recently spotted getting delivery of a brand new McLaren 675 LT and this comes as a no surprise, as Mirror is reporting he will become Britain’s highest-paid TV host. He will be getting 10M GBP per year for working on a new auto show. He will receive a total of 30M GBP for the three 12-part series, set to be aired starting next autumn.
What’s more, the show will have a budget of 4.5M GBP for every episode. For a comparison, the budget of Top Gear was 0.5M GBP per show without including the presenter salaries.
His colleagues James May and Richard Hammond will reportedly be paid each 7.2M GBP a year.
